Since it sounds like she and Brad will be adopting the next one together, it hardly sounds like she's forcing him into it against his will (remember he once said he'd like to have 7 kids). Yes, I understand it takes more than $$$ to raise a child. But she will be able to provide these children with lessons, schooling, food, medical care and college educations. I bet more people in the US would have more than a few kids (the national average is 2.5?) if they felt they could provide all those things to them.

My experience with big families (and I come from two) is that a lot of the caring (if not most) is done by the oldest children. I'm not saying she shouldn't have or adopt more, I just hope she does give them the attention they need and deserve. Regardless, if she's adopting from countries in need, the child will probably be better off anyway.

Why does every person who has a non-glowing-get-this-woman-a-sainthood-now opinion about Angelina HAVE to be an Aniston fan? Jeez, that's old.
Maybe she's superhuman. But I have 2 kids and 2 foster kids that we took in as teens, and a very involved-in-parenting hubby and we can barely give them the time, love and individual attention they need and crave.
One of my daughters is also bipolar, which makes her a very high maintenance child -- lots of keeping track of medications, monitoring, tons of doctor and counseling appts and so on. And her condition didn't manifest until she was a teenager. Since Zahara was nutritionally deprived in her first years of life, she may also present with health problems later on.
It doesn't matter how wonderful of a parent you *intend* to be. As infants, it's easier, because they sleep more. But children suck up waaaay more of your time and energy than you ever thought possible as they grow.
If you have 7 children, and spend one hour alone with each per day in one-on-one time, that's the entire day gone right there. And that's for one individual hour of mom or dad's time.
St. Angie has no idea what she's getting herself into.
Why all the criticism because she uses nannies? She said in an interview they were lucky to have the resources to provide for their children. She is obviously a very hands on mother. She almost always has at least one of the kids with her when she is out. Having a nanny doesn't mean she is a bad parent. She had Mad and Z with her on all the films she has done. She probably sees more of her kids than many working parents do. And like another poster said--they are far better off with her love and attention than in an orphanage...both of them would probably have been dead by now if they had been left in their respective orphanages. If you haven't been to a third world country or one of great poverty, then just shut up--you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
Maybe the Dugger family can help them!

As far as people wanting her removed from the UN as a GoodWill ambassador, that is their right...as US citizens to have a say in who they want representing the US on their behalf in a miriad of different issues! If they don't believe that she fits the caliber(sp) of that position than they should call for her removal Stating that you belive that these people, myself included, are Anistan fans is childish and lacks any argumentative value as well! For the sake of this post I stated that they were asking for Angies removal, but they are asking for Bonos as well! Read up on their Dept Forgiveness campaign and you can see how some people, who don't agree with this argument, are up in arms, because these two celebs are championing a cause that they don't seem to understand the global ramifications of! Goodwill Ambassadors are honorary. Most people just show up for ribbon cuttings, but Angelina has done the field work that has garnered her respect. I don't have a problem with celebs using their popularity for good causes especially on a global scale, but when that celeb is a US representative and I feel that their behavior/actions reflect negatively on us as a whole, then I believe that they should be removed from that position...I feel the same way about politicians! And when actors/musicians get into the political arena I hold them to the same standard!

What exactly has Angelina Jolie done to better the world? She adopted 2 kids and made adopting babies from overseas a fleeting trend in Hollywood. Has she built a school or a hospital somewhere? Is she bettering the quality of life in a particular village somewhere? She gives money but does she know where it goes? Is there a specific disease/cause she raises money for? Other than generating a lot of publicity for herself and controversy, I don't see that she's substantially helped any cause.

I acually wrote a letter to the UN years ago suggesting a different course of action for their GoodWill program! It wasn't specifically targeted toward Angie or Bono, but questioning their use of celebs in such high profile positions...I made the suggestion that they instead pair a celeb with a respected academic(in a particular field) rather than posting a celeb. I won't give details, because this isn't the forum but I happen to be very involved in domestic and international causes and this is something that has bothered me for a long time!...
Anyway, I think Angie believes that adopting kids from third world countries will give more credence to her charity work! I don't discount her love for these kids, but her motive behind her actions!...and remember this is just my opinion

Or the fact that she only adopts beautiful kids - WTF? Zahara's birth mother died of AIDS and Zahara herself was very sick and malnourished. I'm not mad at her. SHe's doing something good in the world and giving kids that wouldn't normally have a fighting chance, a chance at a good life.
A few points. 1) The "Humanitarian" Jolie left her dying mother in Los Angeles to give birth across the world in Namibia. Ever heard of charity begins at home?
2) Brad and Angelina have only known each other two years. THEY HAVE THREE KIDS ALREADY. What is the rush?
3) Why can't they adopt an American kid? Last time I looked there are plenty of poor, indigent children of various races right here in America that desperately need homes.

Adoption is expensive. Not all moral folk are in a position to do so.
The brangelina freaks will continue to rationalize and glorify any and everything this woman does....whether it be positive or negative.

The sad fact of life is that you can't save the whole world, you can't save all the children, and you most certainly can't adopt them all.
I admire and respect what she has done with her salary and her charity work, but I also believe (IMHO) that she now has a responsibility to her children that she has adopted and that is to be a good mother to them and give them a lot of attention.
It is impossible to give them the attention they DESERVE if you have too many all at once. I have three, and I know from experience.
