Meryl said that she does not know and has never even met Wintour, so she really had nothing to use from Wintour for her character. Instead she based the character on people she actually knew the the fashion industry.
People are trying to make it sound like Meryl was scared of Wintour so she didnt base the character on her but thats bullshit. Why would you base a character on someone you have never even met when you already know so many people with this type A personality?

And unless Meryl (who is a goddess, by the way) was sleeping under a rock for the past five years, she must have heard about the book, and all the hoopla surrounding why the main character was about Wintour. How more thinly veiled a reference can you get that her character (editrix of the most influential fashion mag in the US, a raving bitch, etc.) is Wintour? She would be pretty disingenous to argue that her character doesn't reflect Wintour, because the damn character IS Wintour!!

Yea she did, she shows her boobies in the film Havoc, I liked the movie a lot lol, It's about affluent teenage girls that go to east L.A. and start rolling with gang members. Even though Anne's acting is not that great it's still pretty good. Has anyone seen it?
