She's been exercising, she could have dropped extra weight by now. Also, they do airbrushing on pictures in magazines where they want them to look good. They otherwise "enhance" pictures in magazines where they want them to look bad.

I like Naomi. She was amazing in "Mulholland Drive" and I enjoyed her well enough in "The Ring," but "The Ring 2" sucked -- fell asleep on it. Liev is talented and played a great, young Orson Welles in an HBO movie called "RKO 221(?)," all about the filming of "Citizen Kane." However, I've heard there has been friction between Liev and Naomi -- what I heard was that he was very controlling, so much so that he has to approve her appearance. If that's the case, Naomi could do better; hopefully he doesn't criticize her -- no woman needs that shit.

Yes, I'm a huge fan of Orson Welles and Citizen Kane, so I was kinda expecting a lot from Liev in that role. I thought he gave an excellent performance as young Orson.

Hey, Mama Roux, I agree totally. IMO, that movie should have been a studio release -- not just an HBO movie. He was excellent as Orson Welles; "Citizen Kane" was the first film I studied in college. Hell, even Melanie Griffith was good in the "RKO 281" movie. Remember that great cameo Vincent D'Onofrio did in "Ed Wood," where Ed Wood approaches Orson Welles in a bar?

I totally agree about RKO 281. Tim Robbins did a fabulous job on that movie. I was surprised he didn't elect to play Orson himself, though. Seemed like a natural fit for him. And, yes, I remember Vincent D'Onofrio's cameo in Ed Wood (love that movie!). He made a great Orson Welles.

I had a case of "walking" pneumonia when I was around 12. I remember my chest being really sore, so it was painful to take deep breaths. My mom took me to the doctor after a couple days and we were shocked to hear that I had pneumonia. I'm sorry you're battling a case of pneumonia at the moment (not too bad, I hope). What a drag! Mama Roux, yeah -- I agree, RKO 281 was great. I love that old song they keep playing through the movie, "I Can't Get Started With You." James Cromwell was great as Hearst, too. Ed Wood rocks, too -- I think that was one of Depp's best performances. MR, nice to know someone appreciates good movies, not just the Adam Sandler drivel being thrown out there.
