I used to really like Jem. It was bigger than Barbie back in the day.
Remember that Justine Bateman movie 'Satisfaction'? Well, the girl who played 'Billy' the spunky blonde chic in that movie sang all those Jem songs including the theme (truly outrageous, truly truly truly outrageous).
Anyways, this vid brings back fond memories of my childhood. My mom got me a Jem doll for my birthday one year and I remember comparing her to my Barbies. My Barbie dolls were svelte and elegant. The Jem doll looked like a Sasquatch. And she had man feet! I threw her ass to the bottom of my toy box. Still watched the cartoon though.
I love how they keep falling into a pile together - total lesbos.
I used to LOVE JEM. I was Jem for Halloween one year.

Did you ever see the episode when Jem got an invitation in the mail. It invited her to have her dirt-star vigorously tongue-punched. It turned out to be Gargamel from the Smurfs. He was giving it to her good, when Azriel the cat spilled his magic powder, which transformed him into a flea. He gladly attached himself to Jem's dirt-star until it wore off. They never showed him return to normal size, but I bet it was surprising!
