She's no beauty, but she's hardly ugly. I was never impressed with her, though, in the few movies in which I saw her. However, I've been a faithful view of "Big Love" all season, and I am astonished at what an excellent actress she is. The fact that she wasn't nominated for an Emmy this year is proof that the people who vote in the TV Academy are, by and large, almost always rewarding mediocrity.

It is amazing how these comments are flying and everyone has something to say about her...yet you all complain she doesn't deserve to be in the public eye, well who do you think puts her there. People who respond as you do to her and voice an opinion.
Some info, she is from CT. and was one of the original club kids. Jay McInerney, author of bright lights big city, wrote an article about her, the club kids and how she was the it girl for the emerging scene.
Then she got some work in film, and there you go.
As for the BJ in her movie. The actor/director Vincent Gallo is her ex, she thought it would give the scene affect and felt it was something she had done before so why not in front of the camaera.
Just some points of reference, she is a good actress...love her in Big Love.
She got a break and create opportunity and she has a career.
