The photoshopped her boobs away (and we know those babies are always front and center). They got rid of the rippling muscles, made her weave look good but left that smile that takes up most of her face and the jutting cheek implants. She looks pretty good, though.

wow, the cover is so normal! photoshoped...but normal. after seeing her video i expected to see a clown on the cover with fishing rods sticking out of its head.
normally i come running to janet's defense but i can't even defend what's been going on lately. she has definitely had a little something done to her face recently (not cheek implants like everyone swears by) but maybe a little face-lift. something about her smile is very different and i would know because i've followed her for like 25 years. but this album cover is the true crap that hollywood keeps cranking out. it all looks like it was done a the local kinko's.
but to the person who said janet hasn't made a good album since 1989, i have you know that janet and tvr broke records and won awards left and right. do a little googling and you would find that out. she hit her career peak with those two albums and since then it's been sliding down. although i think damita jo has some really great old r&b tracks but it was scandalized.
and the title is dumb, i admit that. control was not her first album, it was her first successfully charting album. there were actually two albums before that so it's been more than 20 years since she's been in the business. anyways, nothing but idiots in the music biz these days. and i think jd is promoting the girl to death and making her seem more desperate than she really is.
the fan contest was never to design the official album cover. it was to design a limited edition release of the album. so there are supposed to be 4 total covers plus this one. my guess is that they will all be crap.
