I actually quite like the "raw" aesthetic of the shoot. They wore minimal makeup and a plain backdrop to show off their natural beauty and contrasted it with outrageous jewels and clothing. It's the backlash to the "technicolor" aesthetic we've been seeing over the last few years in Candies ads and Xtina's most recent GQ cover, for example.

Cheryl Tiegs admits to being in her late 50s (59 to be exact) so she gets a pass on looking to' up from the floor up. She also gave birth to twins at 52 years old and had her first kid at 43ish. She's the only one I can honestly say looks good for her age. Paulina looks good too (but she really doesn't have too many closeups). The rest have no excuse!
