But some of them (and yes I understand sound bytes, radio and ratings y'all!) she just cuts off after listening for 20 seconds like she automatically knows exactly how to fix these people.
People who call into her show deserve what they get.
It's like I'd called up OJ Simpson and start saying in a timid voice "well you know I don't really get along with my ex and was wondering if I should call you.." and he interrupts with "where they at? lemme at 'em..." DUHHHHHHHH
I called in once, and it was a poor choice in judgement on my part!
She was abrupt and rude to me, and wouldn't let me finish my sentences, and then on top of it all, she DIDN'T BELIEVE ME!!!!!!! She really kind of hurt my feelings!
There are a few of her principles that I agree with, and she has a lot of wisdom, but she is too abrupt at times and too judgemental.
I loved that "Frasier" episode where they did a copy-cat version of Dr. Laura......it was so funny!
Bottom line, people are responsible for their own actions......damn, I was taught that when I was FOUR years old. My mother used to say, "You are in charge of you." So easy and so true.

Anonymous, it's an interesting point you brought up. I'm not sure how different sperm samples would compete while in the womb but it would be interesting to find out more.
Certain things in nature would lead me to believe that genetic selection is decided prior to sexual contact. In the bird kingdom, the males are the ones with the colorful feathers to parade during mating season. The ones with the flashiest plumage are most likely to mate with the choosiest females. Nature makes the signs of "genetic superiority" very obvious among species, hence no need really to sample the sperm, if you will.
