Once you have signed the birth certificate you have ONLY one year to disprove paternity. After that grace period, the child is leagaly yours and you are considered the father. In the case of a child born into marriage, once the birth cert. is signed you can't 'bastardize' the child no matter if it's yours or not.
So if this is not Tom's child, any party that protests his paternity has up to a year to DNA test and take responsiblity. Unless of course, they are paid off.

I have seen one of those huge long contracts that Cruise makes his employees sign..I knew a nanny for his adopted kids with Nicole and she signed her life away and was harassed for months when she quit . She was threatened ,followed and her apt was broken into and her journals and bills were stolen and nothing else. It was very strange. She eventually had to move. The Scientology lawyers screwed her credit and kept sending her all these breach of contract letters..it was a joke. This girl was like 23 yrs old and was just freaked out at the way the house was run and the heavy Scientology recruitment. It was very scarey for her and she left LA because of it.
