My take on this is as follows:
Howard Stern (this one) gave Daniel the fatal overdose (by accident, but still gave him it). The screems in the room stating "you did this, you did this" were in response to that fact.
Howard then told Anna that nothing more could be done. He's gone. Instead, he told her to focus on the fact that he (Howard) was the only one to help her finish this legal fight with the Marshal clan down in Texas (800MM). If he went away, she would get nothing!
What's more, the marriage was a way to close any loop that might be open to her having to testify against him in a court of law regarding Daniel's death.
At the end of the day, while sad about what happend to her son, Anna is a gold digging bitch who would sell her own soul to the devil if it meant getting the $$$ she's been fighting for.

She only married him to keep Larry B. from pursuing his paternal rights. She dowsn't want to share the baby and she doesn't want him pursuing custody (which he would probably be granted) If they can dodge the DNA test for a year, paternal rights are established as the 'husband's' (Howard K Stern). (Especially if he signed the birth certificate.) After a year, there is nothing Larry B. could do until she (the baby) is 18 and only at her own request and consent. My guess is that she will be so brainwashed by then, she won't care.

I read on Perez Hilton that under family law in the Bahamas, if a person marries the mother after the birth of the child and acknowleges he is the natural father (which Howard did on Larry King) he is presumed under their laws to be the father and no other DNA test will be required. Anna and Howard just did this so that other guy can't have any rights to the baby. That's my theory.
HKS and ANS are doing this to protect the paternity of the child from Larry Birkhead. It's no coincidence she went to the Bahamas and became a permanent resident while she was pregnant.

They are not legally married. You cannot legally marry on the open water. They had a commitment ceremony to each other. They did not have an official wedding ceremony.
And I watched Larry King Live. Stern never once said the baby was conceived from artifical insemination.
As for the other guy. He came out guns blazing to the media announcing he was the child's father. He's been paid a nice sum to appear on all of these TV shows. He has arrogantly told the press baby is his, he will do DNA testing and can't wait to raise HIS little girl. Why didn't he contact Anna Nicole privately? Something he's yet to even attempt to do. He did this the day before Stern went on Larry King Live. THE DAY BEFORE. Yet he has never gone on the likes of Larry King, just the cheesie shows. What an arrogant fuck. Did he ever think of what Anna is going through? She had just lost her son, he died in her room, she was there hugging his legs as they tried to revive him. And then this slime ball HAPPILY announces to the press he's the happy pappy, isn't it a joyous occassion? I am surprised the insensative prick didn't hand out cigars while he was at it. I know that Howard was damn good to Anna Except for giving in to her every way possible, he was good for her she just did not listen. Anna was a lost soul who had admitted she wanted to live like her idol marylin monroe,she also died like ehr to in a lonely room.She decided to down pills,she decided to be stupid and lie ,she used howard all teh way around.she made him say he was teh baby's father so larry wouldn't coem after her for dna,she was sick and possiblie bi polar,what a shame everyoens placed blame on this man who did nothing more then support her and love ehr and she didn't love him, she used him over an dover, look at her old tv show which was dumb to begin with she was out of her mind,her son ah dno structure ,she allowed him to do what eh wanted, no wonder he turned to pills too.I believe people aought to sit back and rethink,who did what to who,maybe howard did believe he was teh baby's dad,who knows maybe he was also trying to protect her for anna,he bent over backwards for her, she never appriciated it one bit.
