I have freckles too and, at almost 40, people still say they make me look younger. I still feel all those fuzzy great self image boosting feelings when I think back to all the people who called me "cute" because of the cute freckles well into my thirties. Embrace the freckles!
Hey cute freckles!! I always wanted some. Think of it this way, later, when age spots appear (and they will dammit!) yours will blend in with your freckles!
And btw, nice eyebrows. it reminds me I must pluck mine or they will soon be bordering on being Kahlo-esque.

Ah, but it's our imperfections that make us beautiful. Well, everyone but me. Because that's how it always feels, right?
My grandmother told me freckles were angels' kisses. Later, my neighbor from Ireland told me they were fairies' kisses. Either way, it's good. Enjoy your freckles 
Well, we all find "imperfections" with our bodies. It's a constant struggle, I think, to be be completely happy. But, it's a good goal. And anyway- I happen to like freckles.

I've never liked my freckles, but looking into my daughters eyes, and seeing her beautiful freckles, has given me a new appreciation of my own. Angel kisses on her face.

I have to say that the Icarus shawl was my favourite design in that issue of IK.
Good I - it's so hard to love the none perfect parts of ourselves... but then there was the realization that I'm entirely composed of none perfect parts!
Freckles are beautiful. I was attracted to my husband because of his. I only have a few myself, and I sometimes "sun" in the summer so they'll come out to play. Pigment rules. I loved my belly stripe when I was pregnant; too bad it faded.
When I turned the page of IK to your Icarus shawl, I stopped breathing for a few seconds... Sheer beauty of design.

I love your freckles, I think they're CUTE.
I hear ya on the freckles -- I have them, too. Sure, they're cute, but sometimes we want to look polished, not cute. There must a make-up to cover them when we don't want to look "cute", but I haven't found it.
BTW, my dermatologist recommends using a sunscreen that blocks UVA rays to keep the freckles from getting darker.
Wow, if I ever learn to love my ever-expanding love handles, that will be progress indeed!
