What bothers me is the fact those mediums contact people that are long gone. According to Tibetan life-death philosophy, people are supposed to reborn until 40 days after their death. So what the psychic are contacting? Are they real souls or just memory left-overs?
And anyway isn't the idea of contacting dead people destructing the idea of a rebirth. Because after you get into your new body, how and why, you manage to answer the questions of a psychic.
Yes, it might be comforting for the loved ones, but still, the soul that leaves should be left alone, to deal with her new life. I bet it's not really easy for the soul neither.
