Gravatar What a shame that the news media has been taken over by the fascist NWO Borg mind state.
Criticising someone famous for a free expression of his deeply held beliefs
is yet another clear example of how perverted the news media has become in NA.
It is our free choice if we wish to compley.
Why not focus upon something more meaningfull than someone who wants to help humanity in a wholesome way as Tom Cruise does?

Gravatar Scary...the scariest part is that he really believes himself. I don't care about the scientology as a belief system. What bothers me is that he's so trusting in himself he could change EVERYTHING. And he misses the part that sometimes everything doesn't want to be changed. Or that it may have better ways than his.

Gravatar You think THIS is scary How about this one!!

Gravatar I don't see why this video is scary.
And I don't see EU to join USA in such union. And I don't see Russia and Iran ever join this union. Is not such a big deal.
Anyway, think of it this way-if we have one government and one army, we won't have wars on Earth. That's not so bad.

Gravatar And not on last place, democracy is long dead, we really should face the reality and stop lying to ourselves. It's not a conspiracy of some people against other people-it's just different levels of existence.

Gravatar This is so sad to realize that the previous posters do not even know what the Sovereign Rights of Humanity are.
Google the Magna Carta.
Read trouts blog on yahoo!
WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!

Gravatar It's sad to not know what are the relationships between USA and EU and Russia. The rest of the world is not so ready to join any union with USA, so I really don't see this as a threat. Which doesn't mean there aren't conspiracies,or that big forces are not in the play behind the screen, just that this particular one is not very plausible to me.

Gravatar Any one out there read Alex Jones
www.prisonplanet.com
or www.infowars.com?
Ten years ago he was written off as a nut bar..
EVERYTHING he said was going to happen IS happening.
How long are you all planning on living here on this planet?

Gravatar Thanks for the sites, I actually needed something like that for another discussion. But apart from that I'm behind my opinion.
USA is not the world, and you'll be surprised how little people care about it. Even in those sites, all I saw was local issues. And the world is not local anymore.
How come none of this conspiracies cares about Kenya's genocide, about the lift of the ban to wear a head-scarf in universities in Turkey or about Kossovo's independence or about the energy problems of EU or anything else that is not in USA?!

I'm sorry to be impolite but although USA is big world power, it's not the only one and people exist and suffer on other places too.Yes, USA has a finger in that suffering but there is more to it.

As for my stay on this planet, well, it will be as long as it has to be, I guess If there is another way to get off it, beside death, I might consider leaving. But dying is kind of too traumatic escape for the moment.

Gravatar Deni, I respect where you are coming from!
Throw some of those sites you are refering to. We need some good world news for a change!
North America certainly doesn't hear much these days.
Thanks, Minerva

Gravatar This might be a little off topic but take a look at what someone sent me this morning.
Any comments would be interesting.

Gravatar Oh, well, I don't have special EU-USA sites (though they probably exist), if you want to follow the relationshipes between USA and EU you can check http://www.Euroaktive.com or my blog http://myeuropeandream.blogspot.com
that is mostly with news from Euroaktiv, though sometimes I find something worthy in NY Times or yahoo. And my comments, of course

They are not anti-US sites, but are about what's going on in the EU, though that give pretty good idea about the rest of the world.

If you follow the news for a while, it's easy to see that most of the time Europe is either trying to fight its dependency over Russian gas (and still try to avoid the US oil that's even worst) or to fight for its right to ban some US products (mostly GMO) which WTO (and USA, of course) want in Europe and Europe wants out. So far the first battle is lost on Russia and the second is holding, though WTO is really pushing for the GMO to get in EU.

Anyway, the point is that you can find the info in most sources of news-Yahoo, Google, NY Times if you read carefully and long enough, because although those news are rarely directly presented as tensions between USA and EU, if you watch you'll see it. It's there.

As for USA and Russia-just notice the Kossovo problem. Kossovo is Serbian province that wants independence, EU and USA are likely to support it, though EU is careful about it, while USA probably will for sure(I still can't understand why USA pours money only in muslim countries in the Balkans). On the other side Russia won't accept the independence and will protect Serbia. Kossovo will probably get its independence, but you can see the maneuvres behind. And even some of the money in the play-Russia will invest serious money in the region supplying it with its gas and making the way for it toward central Europe.

Also check the Iran story. USA keeps on pushing hard for sanctions, EU agrees but procrastinate, Russia is hard against it.

Just two examples of the tensions between those countries and they are very main-stream news.

So, my point is that it's hard for me to believe in the Global Government and whatever-because there is too much still going on between the main powers on Earth. And don't forget China that people tend to underestimate, but that is very powerful and even Saudi Arabia that is investing currently $200 billion in its industry so that it becomes independent of its oil income. And if it gets independent of the oil, it will get very very powerful. Of course, they have strong relationships with USA, but that's because USA is great market for the oil. If there is no oil, I'm not sure whose interests they'll protect-most likely their own.

So, the world is not that simple. There are (re)emerging powers and they won't simply join USA because it's USA. I doubt those countries will soon(if ever, especially Russia) find enough common interests so that they ally, but if they do, well, that will be a victory for the E
