You are right, forgiveness can be difficult , it totally depends on the individual(s) involved and what the act was, But pray and in time you will be able to forgive, remember it's better for you to forgive, (mentally and physically) carrying it around is a no, no.

I think it is a combination of things, I think it is a bruised ego and of course there are the emotions, and I think forgiveness smacks right in the face of propriety as well, as if we could own someone and the actions as a reflections of ourselves, maybe if I were more this or that, this wouldn't have happened, but remember that all is impermenance nothing remains the same, look at what it is at its core that is troubling you, why do you find it hard to forgive, what is it in you that you are holding on to, and is it worth doing so, cry, scream and holla if need be, but like the old adage goes "two tears in a bucket mothafuck it"

Cuzzo,Sometimes i think we are joined at the hip. I have been holding a grudge against someone for about two years now and it is starting to consume me,yet I don't know how (or if I should) let it go. It is so *expletive* hard to let this thing lay dead and buried in my past were it should be. I don't know if I can....

Forgiving is a hard thing to do but Love is the utmost high...In cases like this...You have to sometimes just "step outside of the box" and say "hey, I can handle this and/or we can handle this" . Remember, God can't bless you with your increase if you keep holding onto unwanted earthly possessions or situations...

Forgiving is always a difficult task. It becomes more difficult when so many things around you on a daily basis can trigger the memories and emotions you have tried so hard to let go. It will take time. And soon the heart will let go and the memories won't be so painful.

4 me the key words are Love and Forget, and we do have the power to forget. We forget where we place things all the time, why not misplace a bad moment or memory n time, or better yet exchange the painful memory with memories that recall love or happiness.
We really do have a say in what we choose 2 hold on to or let go! I'm letting GO!
