I usually answer Stravinxky to this question as well! This gets a blank stare from the grocery store crowd. I get accosted quite a lot. Seriously!
Off to adjudicate lots of really scary scary junior high orchestras. There will be like 2 that are good, and then 10 that are frightening. The hard part is coming up with worthwhile comments...
The other night in the Stupe, I couldn't even answer a student who asked me what kind of music I LIKE.

Alright, I am a Lutos whoski but after reading this I might be able to pull off a smile and nod with a quick retreat.
You can't escape the influence of your own time on your worldview. Don't scare me like that..... : )
