Another Western Swing fan! I was afraid I might be the last of the breed.
Let's not forget names like Buster Cowand and the Tune Wranglers, and Bill Boyd and his Cowboy Ramblers. We will never hear their like again.

Last of the breed, no... but even here in Texas it's a bit rare. Can't imagine how things are in Washington!

Well, I'm in the desert part of Washington. My brothers were both working cowboys. This is not the Washington you see on "Fraser."
I grew up on Western Swing, as my father and grandparents had it playing a lot. The 60s and 70s more or less passed over Klickitat County, so country music never went out of style.

I'm just learning up a storm here. I didn't even know that Washington had a desert part! I thought it was all green and trees and, well, green.
Also, I always picture Seattle as part of Canada. 
Klickitat County is, quite honestly, the coolest name ever.
