Hey, as a preschool teacher of four year olds and a mother myself, I say GO WITH YOUR GUT. If it doesn't feel right there's a reason for that and I believe it is God's intervention for we mothers to know what's the right thing to do for our kids. Drive her yourself or find another program. I like how she played it cool and then let you off the hook at the end, kind of funny actually.
I try to watch myself, especially in situations at work or where I don't know someone well enough. But, I have to admit that I'm surprised to hear others just let loose, like I had a co-worker say "shit" to clients that he'd just met for the first time. Fortunately, the context was okay and they weren't phased by it at all.
