Gravatar A 2000 word paper on the Motherhood of Mary drawn from the scriptures??? Yes, such a shame it can't be posted!! Would have loved to read it... been having lots of trouble nodding off the past few nights. Oh well!!

Overdue from 2006? B, you're a shocker!!

Gravatar Some people are even worse off than me with the essays! Actually the paper is very interesting, I think it would hold your attention - well actually I know what a small attention span you have, it's in three sections, you could prob do it over 3 night

Gravatar 3 nights?? You give me too much credit B! I still haven't finished the last essay you sent me!!

Gravatar Alleluia - your essay for last year is completed - Congratulations! I look forward to reading it. I started last week the 8 week evening course on Mary for Today. The first week was interesting covering the many reasons and thoughts why many people cannot accept Mary as the mother of God and the graces Our Lord has allowed her shower of us her children.

Gravatar I should have added a comment for the women. Mary is noted as the first Christian and first Saint - and it is a woman who achieved this status. She always remained humble going about doing her work without telling her story to the world of being the mother of God, even after he rose from the dead proving he was God. She quietly supported the apostles and set an example to trust in God.
Mary freely choose to take on this role of motherhood - she could have said 'no - too hard'. She asked intelligent questions then agreed - hence she is called the second eve. The first eve disobeying God in the Garden of Eden, so now we are all suffering with original sin. But we now have this opportunity to say 'yes' to God's will - receiving extra graces reaching Our Lord through his mother and in the process receiving far better results in our life then if we had been stubbon and refused God's help. I really do believe there is a judgement day and a hell. If we continue to forget God's whole 10 commandments we are saying no to heaven. Every minute of the day is a new opportunity to take up God's invitation to eternally live with Him when we leave this confused, imperfect world.

Gravatar I read your essay and found many interesting points in an easy format to read. Good work.
