Gah, I hate it when that happens.
At least you got a whole tenner - I had an "important alert" email once for a mere two pounds.
They also keep asking me to update my security questions as well, but the options they provide don't suit me, so I keep clicking on "do it later".
I suspect I'll be "doing it later" for the next few years.

what about a ticket for a tenner from lastminute.com? A funny show will make you smile. (although with BF it will cost 11.50 :D)

You could simply invest the tenner in a mooch of scratch cards... that may make you smile!

You've all made me smile!
@Ian £2 really is taking the mick
The effort it took to get them to change my details when I moved house was unbelievable.
@Jess - loving the Lastminute idea - I'll check that out.
@Jen & @Dan - Gambling sounds like a splendid idea - I think I'll grab £5 of scratchcards and do £5 of extra lottery tickets for Saturday and blog the results

Haha, I had the same experience this morning. Won 14.60 in Euro Millions. Oh well. It was nice for those 30 seconds to think I might not have to work.

@Stephanie - I always think those 14 seconds are great - but it's the let down afterwards that's always the worst - when you realise you still do have to work!
Fingers crossed for my 5 lines tonight
