A few years ago, both Cheney and Rumsfeld had me starting sentences with "I'm not a Stalinist, but..." before going on to explain that a good old-fashioned purge of Nixon's outgoing administration in the '70s would have prevented any number of unfortunate outcomes in the second act we unwisely allowed them.
Well life is never fair. Most of the extremely influential war criminals around the world just walk away unpunished. All the rules and laws of any country so far seems to be easily buy-able by money and or influence.
I shudder to think of the outlandish prospect of a martyred St. Cheney.
