Using passages and parts of speeches of different people is not something new in the American politics. Many politicians use sentences or phrases from different sources to better explain their position. Even Hillory used parts of Bill Clinton and John Edwards speeches during this primary season. However Obama is running as the candidate with new ideas; someone who is above Washington politics; an agent of change. So his action brings to question the authenticity of his message. After all if he is the candidate with new ideas, why does he need to use someone else's speech to explain those new ideas?
