See, throwing around the term "my people" is not so accurate. Why do you mean by that term? Your people, who are genetically the most similar to you? Your ethnicity? Your race? Or people from your nationality? If you want to call people from diverse races as your people under the heading of "pakistani," then why not extend it further and call non-pakistanis as your people too? Specially since Pakistaniat is not based on any physical realities like a race is, just some ideologies.
