Push Liberty

The DoD has effectively declared war on the American people with these communist-inspired anti-terror guidelines. Still feel like supporting the troops now?

What the f**k!?

This was not in any of the recent DoD training I took.

Could it be referring to protests by persons in an occupied zone? That would still be overly broad, but could be narrowed down--forex, the "protests" organized by RAF in Germany in the 80s were, in fact, terrorism--their intent was to interrupt military operations and scare both military personnel and Germans who supported NATO.

Michael, the quiz was only given to a small percentage of DoD employees. That does not make it right, however.

I still think it's probably in reference to hostile areas, or by specific groups. I'd have to see the actual text either way.

It's not as if the ACLU is actually a neutral party.

I do recall Cold War briefings on various groups like the Red Army Faction sponsoring protests, as I said.

I've seen a lot of these types of complaints over the years. The most famous was the "US troops being surveyed on if they'd fire on US citizens" one. Most of them are taken out of context, or misattributed.

I'm interested in further info as it becomes available.
