We have a long hair chihauhau that we really love. Yours is really cute too. Ours is a doll. They are so tiny. Ours is named Giszmo. He runs to us and wants to be picked up each time we come in. Then he gives us kisses. He has a stuffed animal that he really LOVES!

Lol @ the roll of tape! We used to have a family pet cat -- and my brothers would squeeze him and throw him around. Your story reminds me of that.

That is not half as bad as what My two year old did with our chihuahua..she would grab her by the neck and carry her around..or she would step on it..I had to give her away because she was just to mean to the poor dog..

That's funny, when I was young, my dog also passed some difficult moments. Still, it's was a pretty big dog and sometimes, I was bitten, so it was the payback. Max, my dog, gave me some of my best and happier memories. Sadly he ran away some years ago and I never found him again.

I love dogs! I sure miss mine(may he rest in peace). I'm not gonna lie, I think Chihuahuas are not very cute(for lack of a better word). Having said that, I think your dog Pookie is actually a good looking dog. Is he a mix of some sort? Great pictures too! -M

I heard from an old teacher friend that Chihuahuas were bred to keep the elderly's feet warm. They were trained over the years to lay on the bed, right near or on your feet. I always thought that fact was wrong or made up. But who knows, maybe your dog will act as a foot warmer as well. Cute looking dog too!

Pookie looks so cute. That's also the reason why I don't allow my kids to touch our dog because they sometimes tend to hurt our dog in a way that they're not aware they said they're just playing and having fun.
