Seriously though, don't let people get away with that "Obama's been doing it too" defense. Because, uh, no he hasn't. He had that whole Keating Five video ready to go for a long time before it was released. He didn't want to go there, but McCain's guilt-by-association tactics forced his hand. If McCain would've stayed out of the mud, that video wouldn't have seen the light of day. It was a simple case of offense-is-the-best-defense.
