Gravatar hmmm... hahaha... my mom use to believe this superstition too.

Gravatar heheeee! this post is sooo funny. :D

Yup, my mom and my aunties also call them hmms. i can relate! i can relate! :D

ps: i like your blog, i hope you don't mind me adding it to my blogroll at www.yebaah.com

Gravatar zang:

He he. I see that your family was also a victim of the hmms! Our was English-speaking, how 'bout yours?

Gravatar rzlee:

It's nice to know that we are not alone in this weird superstition. He he.

Thanks for the link. I'll add you to my blogroll too.

Gravatar I'm so familiar with this. I used to call it "mabait" so it won't eat my clothes or shoes or anything. But it doesn't work. Right now, I even run after it with a broom in hand to shoo it away. =)

Gravatar oisst. dotcom ka na pala. congrats!i'll update my links. wink.

Gravatar I'm familiar with this superstitious belief. Funny thing, I do practice it too. LOL But I do call them in another name, that is, Kasambahay.

Gravatar c gonzales:

Fly paper has been the most effective for me (for the small ones at least). I heard them being referred to as "mabait" as well. He he.

Gravatar buraot:

Thanks. Kaw din, dotcom ka na rin pala kaya congrats din.

Gravatar elaine:

That's new! Never heard them called kasambahay before, he he. Is it effective?

Gravatar oh wow, i didn't know about this superstition until now..

Gravatar kat:

He he. Good for you, unlike many of us who have been fooled into following this weird (stupid) superstition.

Gravatar gosh we had the same thing at home when i was a kiddo buti ngayon hindi ha,

ang cute ng mom mo nag english pa LOLs

i dunno why but superstition seems to be integral to pinoy culture, maybe that's why we can't progress much kasi we have so many of these very traditional beliefs...

Gravatar Hey this seems crazy, but its true, i spoke to a few friends who belong to different nationalities and they all weren't shocked about it but rather agreed in sincere nods,to my disbelief even my mom holds this superstition correct! looks like rats are intelligent species after all.

Gravatar hay naku, everyone in my family still believes that! :P

i got stuck on the 4th episode, haha! i should scoot on over to yt na :D

Gravatar haha. We just silently plot of eliminating them. The flytrap works on the smaller ones. But the bigger ones, even our cats got bruises.

Gravatar nice story monaco. geez, i am really amused that you call the rats as valdemort and very much amuzed too when i heard geoff telling trisha that rats are friends. *LOL* he's very freaking filipino talaga in that sense. now, i wonder if he had 'influenced' new zealands friends over that thought! ^_^

Gravatar i think there's more to it than mere superstition, mice are extremely smart creatures, the other night my hubby expressed his intentions of trapping them and the next morning in the kitchen we found my hubby's hand towel with holes in them, but just his towel, not mine or the kids, now how do you explain that... I guess not telling them you plan to kill them is a good idea.

Gravatar hehehe this is too funny!my folks are into this, too.Mas worst pa lol Ultimo paglilipat ng tanim dinadasalan grabe!!hahaha

Gravatar Di ko alam may ganito palang kasabihan. hehe
