How Can you say something like that when Bush openly disregarded the Constitution his entire term in office? The President does not have the right to pass laws or determine the constitutionality af any law passed by Congress. That is the responsibility of the judiciary branch. And yet Bush throughout his career passed secret presidential directives giving him dictatorial powers and issuing "signing statements" quietly disregarding those laws passed by Congress. Never has a President in history assumed he had such power. Whether Obama makes a good president or not we have, as voters, attempted to undo the damage THIS president has done to the Constitution.
