Though many of us resent the fact that he got away with murder 13 years ago, can we all this conviction justice if it was influenced by that case and not by its own merits?

How uncanny relating to the date. But, I do feel that he was involved in some manner in his wife's murder.
I guess in this case justice has been done...it just took a while!

Many people feel that way. But I'm still divided on the issue. I can't help but think that this conviction was influenced by the results of the previous case, and I don't think it's fair.

On CNN the other night I heard one of the Defense say that the way in which this verdict was handed down is similar to what a bank robber would get had he held up a bank with a gun ! The law has been extreme harsh on O.J. and I think it has a lot to do with the Goldman's attorney and the media that O.J. was doomed from the start. However, I don't think he'll serve the full sentence, and verdict will only create sympathy for O.J.

If that's the case then I don't think it's fair. If it wasn't OJ being tried, would we have the same result given the same evidence.
If he beat the system the first time then good for him. But I don't think it's fair to punish him this time just because he beat the system then.

I think many of them are judging from reactions I've been seeing on TV. But there are still many who feel that OJ was cheated in this recent case.

Actually, I think that justice has arrived way too late for the guy. If the justice system had functioned properly the first time around, he would have gone to jail way back then and still be there. But at least better late than never, right?

I'm still divided on the issue. But there's one thing I'm certain of. Going into that hotel to "retrieve" his memorabilia was a stupid thing to do, especially with the memory of a 'wrongful acquittal' still hanging over his head.
