so true. Miss colombia was my bet because she was just perfect and her beauty looks natural. Ms. venezuela was beautiful as well but i don't know, medyo nakakasawa na yung ganun face.. too miss-universe-looking.
and i couldn't help but think that it was done on purpose to catch the attention of the judges.. haha! i know it's probably just a coincidence. wasn't that also miss texas last year? hmm.
I also think it was a bit obvious, picking miss vietnam as one of the top 15 ladies.. probably just paid respect to the country hosting the pageant or something.
Dayana is a beautiful woman, smart and confident. Of course, she deserves to be the winner, anything else would be a robbery.

Including the host country in the semi-finalists is a long Miss universe tradition. As for Miss Venezuela, she looked so "professional", a bit too much for me.

i guess the venezuelans are pretty happy, laging top 5 ang candidates nila but never the winner.

Yup. I hope the next Miss USA won't suffer the same fate. They should learn from this. The first one was a careless mishap, and so was the second. But a third one would be sheer stupidity!

south americans dominated the finalists...surprising that india (another pageant regular) didn't make it.

I agree with the guy who said that Miss Venezuela wasnt that cute, I think colombia and Mexico were better looking.
