Picking Sarah Palin as running mate was a brilliant move on McCain's part. She injected a fresh face and fresh blood into a campaign that was actually becoming boring. Obama wasn't offering any specifics and McCain's simply old. Palin has electrified the Republican base and has made the campaigns more exciting to watch.

If things go according to plan and McCain and Palin win the election, she has a very bright future ahead of her and may become the first woman President in US history.

I agree. Though Obama may be the more popular between the two presidential candidates, he's been all talk until now. The campaign has to focus on specific programs and plans that they will do if elected, and not just a speech contest.
