Seems like David Cook has a lot of supporters here in our country. All my friends are rooting for him too. And his song is currently #1 on the radio charts!
My vote goes to David Cook. He sings a lot better and comes across as more natural than the other Dave. Hehehe

I would like to hear david cook sing "Even Low" by Pearl Jam in the finale. But I think, most people would expect him to sing rock ballads/slow rock (not sure if it is the correct term) like Hello or Always Be my Baby.

Definitely David Cook, he seems to be the most talented, can play the guitar well! And his singing very unique!

You're the first Archuleta fan here. He's undeniably talented but I'm not a big fan of ballads.

In my opinion, both are worthy candidates, but there are certain things that bug me about each of them.
I'm not saying he doesn't deserve to win, but David C has already had a little bit of experience with the whole band thing. Some people would say he's already had a shot at stardom. David A in a way also has skeletons in the closet. He won the Idol Star Search years ago, and the judges have always taken a strong liking to him. Also, the bandwagon (as far as I can tell) has chosen to follow him, so many people are probably irritated with that. I am from Utah, so naturally the environment is kind of toward Archuleta, but Cook definitely has a great chance of winning. I think at this point, the real winner is the one who makes it further after the show, and no one can know for sure right now who that will be. In many seasons before, the runner up has had it pretty good too.

I agree. I think the real winner will the one who will be successful after the competition, the one who will sell more records. Just look at what happened to the contrasting fortunes of Taylor Hicks and Chris Daughtry!

I must admit I was disappointed when I read the reviews this morning. However, I still hope David Cook's supporters won't dessert him. I hope his consistency in the past weeks will pull him through.
I'm not much of an Archuleta fan, but looking at their performances in the finals, clearly, Archuleta wins the competition. but it doesnt matter, coz Archuleta is going to be one of the best selling voices/faces in america. and what do you mean by "he can only sing one genre and it's ballads, and that's where the excitement ended for me."?? I mean Cook is also the same .. Archuleta for ballads & Cook the rocker .. these two are in 2 different ends .. but Archuleta definitely has the best voice .. However..lets see whats going to happen in the "Battle of the Davids"..

David Archuleta may have the better voice but David Cook is more exciting as a performer, and with a 12 million vote margin in final tally, he's the star!
Just watched the finale and was happy David Cook won !! He's more of an Idol to me, more personality and maturity, charisma, he deserved to win.
Cook won and I was really happy with the result. He was much more of an idol than that other David. More charismatic, mature and strong personality.
