ay grabe naman itong balita na ito. joan was right in saying that this was unethical. nakakahiya naman ang mga medical people involved, hindi na nila binigyan ng kahihiyan yung pasyente, pati na rin ang respeto para sa propesyon nila.

I am from the health allied field too and I find the behavior of the professionals concerned in this incident as unethical. I hope this case will serve as a warning for other Doctors, etc to watch their behavior. Kung minsan, akala ng mg doctor porque groggy ka sa gamot, hindi mo na alam ang nangyayari sa paligid mo. But they are deadly wrong...
I don't know but this case is one separate issue na talagang sumampal na naman sa image ng medical industry natin sa Pinas. Nakakahiya, ikinahihiya, mga walang hiya dapat sa kanila. Just watched the update tonight, they can't blame the doctors and nurses of the hospital. Ang sabi it was the student nurses who took the video. Napagdaanan ko yan, kapag meron kaming operation bawal ang celpone or any gadget inside the operation room. SOP yun. Walang ibang sisisihin dito kundi ang CI's, Doctors and nurses staff na kasama sa operation. Dapat kasama ang buong admin ng hospital na yan. So sad.
I think their actions are wrong, but now that i know about it, I have to admit I find his predicament kinda funny.
of course this is precisely why things like should be kept private. If I were having a sensitive procedure I would be beyond embarrassed. Hopefully he wins his case and a HUGE amount of money.
i've seen the video too, kakaawa naman and at the same time nakakatakot. something should be done talaga about this kung yun nga hindi pa nangyayari ito me comment ang desperate housewives na "some med schools in the phils", naku di lalo na ngayon. ang dami pa naman nating mga good doctors and nurses na respected here and abroad, tapos ganyan.

to make matters worse, there were reportedly nursing students among the group who were observing the procedure/under training. see what the professionals are teaching these kids?!

yes, I agree. hindi dapat sa nursing students alone. it is the responsiblity of the doctors in charge what happens inside that OR. huwag nang magpalusot!

nakakahiya talga yung mga doctors! gawd, nahihiya ako for them. grabe, CONFIDENTIALITY is always being mentioned in med school! tinuturo yun sa ethics class in med school dba?! grabe... kahit hindi ituro yun, normal at alam na dapat natin na hindi dapat yun ginagawa...
