Hope the Oil Honchos won't buy off this one and kill this project. Anyways, its in Japan now, so perhaps, this could succeed.

I hope so too. This project is a big threat to them and their greediness. He he. If this turns out to be a success, the next question is, "Won't we have a water shortage with this one?"

It isn't as good as it sounds. What breaks down the water is VERY expensive. It isn't cost effective. Currently it costs $100 to fill up your tank with 'water'.

The didn't say that in the video. Thanks for the input. I'll do some more research on this.

I hope we'll have enough water in several years to drive such cars. It's gets less and less every year! Still, New inventions will create big changes, in our lives.

OMG I want one! It seems like a con...
@Luke - We've got the sea!
@bloggista - Your concerns could come true. Lets hope not
@Gary - If what you say is true and I assume it is because this is a new product. I think that most things start off expensive when they first come out.

That's exactly what I'm thinking of. Will water suffer the same fate as oil if this project succeeds?

Thanks for the input. I forgot about the sea. It's virtually unlimited!

a filipino invented a water-powered car ten years or so ago (i met him and saw him drive off with his water-powered toyota box type car). german and japanese manufacturers wanted to purchase his invention for huge sums of money but he steadfastly refused because he was trying to sell his idea to the philippine government. anong nangyari? well, the philippine govt, i guess with the pressure of the huge oil companies, lambasted his invention and called him a hoax.
imagine kung pilipinas ang unang nakapaglabas ng water-powered car, it could have been a major industry for us. e wala eh, nadala ng pressure.

What? Grabe naman. Sayang yun. It could have solved our dependence on oil many years ago.

tama si Meeya! i guess aside from the pressure of the huge oil companies, isang factor din doon ang "crab mentality". ayaw ata nilang sumikat ang imbentor. another reason is ang corruption. kung bibilihin kasi nila yun, mababawasan ang kurakot nila kasi ibang budget na naman yung pagbili ng rights. hahaha... hay naku, Pilipinas! kailan ka matututo?
