i have to agree with you monacome about the crying children inside the church. however, it's really quite unavoidable. i can attest to that since my little tyke is so noisy too whenever we are inside the church.
so in the end, my husband and i will go out to pacify him or worst we stay outside to hear the mass.

"Let the little children come".
I thought church applies to everyone, including the children.
I agree if a child is too disruptive that they need a timeout (excessive crying or tantrums). But for the kids who might be making a few extra noises - how in the world do you expect them to learn how to behave in church?
Are you also the people who judge others for not attending church? You judge them when they are in church and make them feel unwelcomed and then you judge them for not attending?
I have twice been victim to this judging - this behaviour makes mothers like me feel like we are doing a horrible job. Have you ever been a mother? Do you not know how hard it is to do your best and raise your children to know God? Or maybe you were blessed to have children that behaved exactly how you wanted them to, or maybe you didn't bring them to church? Do they attend church now, as adults?
Apparently, the world revolves around you and your need for perfection.
I will pray for your patience and tolerance. As well as the good behaviour of my children.
