Gravatar You can never go wrong with Ford.
I love cars even though I don't know how to drive! =)

Gravatar I'm just glad that the folks at Ford have stuck to the basic shape and design of the Mustang. Their attempts to deviate from it back in the late 70s through the early 90s were a disaster. The new models are a lot sharper and prettier.

Gravatar I loved the film Bullitt way back when. Everything about the film screamed America and introduced me for the first time to muscle cars. Following that film I avidly searched the daily paper for more "CAR" type films and I saw some classics dealing with Street Dragging and Cop Chases, etc. Nothing like this had ever been seen on our roads in England, but then we were at the time some ten years behind American trends. Now on a summers eve if I leave the window open I can hear our local "Boy Racers" being chased by the boys in blue or bright yellow as it now is. However I can't help but wonder why Ford has produced yet another Muscle car because scanning newsreel footage of American Highways reveals an astounding change being made by the public away from large cars in general to more practical models which at the end of the day will convey people safely and reliably from A to B and without being followed by a petrol tanker or indeed the need for a fat wallet. I too still like classic cars after all many were built here in Britain Jaguar, Bentley, Rolls Royce and so on but since the sixties they have all slumped in popularity mainly due to Japanese and German types. There isn't room here for an in-depth review, so as far as I can see the new Mustang has been aimed at a niche market of die hard big block lovers. Here in Britain Ford have always been leaders in style, innovation and economy. That said recently they have been loosing out on all counts. Like the Mustang? Yes. Buy one? No way. Come on Ford you know what the greater public want.

Gravatar Free Me - Do you think that if Ford had any idea what the greater public wanted, they (along with GM and Chrysler) would be asking me and every other taxpayer for $34 billion? I don't think they have much of a clue. Ford has one compact car model in America, ONE. Well maybe 2, the Focus and the Fusion. Ford is behind the times. As for the car, I like the new front end on this car but I'm not a fan of the blinker style or much of the rear end actually. To me, new model Mustang means 'heavy and slow." Put an efficient V6 in a smaller lighter car. My .02

Gravatar I'm glad with the concept design of ford mustang. I'm always be a fan of this great car.
