haha, ganyan din lola ko. when she came back from states to stay here for good, ang dami nya dala, that's like 10 years ago ata... until now, mga dala nya asa balikbayan boxes pa din. hahaha. yung yellow and green pot? hindi ba kasabay binili with the red?

ganun nga, nakatago at ayaw gamitin. dito sa bahay, aside from those green, yellow and red pots, ang dami pang iba pero puro kadero naman din. meron daw pang fish, pasta, casserole, etc.

Same here.
I know that we have a Saladmaster set that hasn't been used since 1983. It was delivered in Aug that year. I remember because we were then watching the Ninoy funeral march coverage.

Superb shot! It looks like one of those heavy cast iron pots, lovely to look at but awkward to use. Perhpas that's why it's not being used - a beautiful object to be admired rather than a practical item to be put into use?

That's a nice red pot.
My grandmother was the same way. She kept so many things in her cabinets and many of which were new and never been used.
