Gravatar That's a bright red pot!! it called my attention that it looked so new, after reading your post I know why!
Happy weekend

Gravatar Hi! Nice take on the theme. Happy hunting!

Gravatar Very nice pot! Night owl ka rin pa lang kagaya ko hehe. Take care and happy hunting!

Gravatar thanks mar. my photohunt is nothing compared to yours. as I said in your blog, your is a clever interpretation of this week's theme.

Gravatar thanks for visiting liza. yup, I'm an insomniac actually. besides I get things done easily when all is quiet around the house.

Gravatar Beautiful. A fascinating idea of hospitality. Here people often use things everyday but will often go out of their ways in other ways to make guests feel comfortable.

Gravatar what a beautiful shiny red pot
i loved your story too - we also kept our 'good things' for visitors !!!

Gravatar ano ung photohunt mon?

ganda ng pots red green and yellow parang benetton :P

Gravatar haha, ganyan din lola ko. when she came back from states to stay here for good, ang dami nya dala, that's like 10 years ago ata... until now, mga dala nya asa balikbayan boxes pa din. hahaha. yung yellow and green pot? hindi ba kasabay binili with the red?

Gravatar That's a lovely pot, I'd have trouble not using it if it were mine.

My photo hunt pictures are up now too!

Gravatar That's a great pot! I'd treasure it, surely.

Gravatar dak:

ganun nga, nakatago at ayaw gamitin. dito sa bahay, aside from those green, yellow and red pots, ang dami pang iba pero puro kadero naman din. meron daw pang fish, pasta, casserole, etc.

Gravatar joyce:

photohunt is a meme that we do every saturday. dami kasali worldwide. if you want to join you will find the rules and mechanics here:

Gravatar my mother has the same problem! stacking up stuffs she never uses!
but your mom's pot looks like it has been taken cared for!

have a nice weekend!

Gravatar thanks heather. as I said, hospitality isn't just about the things we use in entertaining our guests but the caring that goes with it.

Gravatar kathryn:

thanks for visiting my photohunt this week. enjoy the weekend.

Gravatar Same here.

I know that we have a Saladmaster set that hasn't been used since 1983. It was delivered in Aug that year. I remember because we were then watching the Ninoy funeral march coverage.

Gravatar wow, em dy, that was 24 years ago! he he. but I'm sure my mom can beat that.

Gravatar That's really nice it looks like new, it's beautiful. Thanks for sharing....

Gravatar yes jenny. I guess that's typical of pinoy moms. baka ganyan ka rin as you age. just kidding.

Gravatar thanks wilstop. your take on this week's theme is cool too.

Gravatar secret agent mama:

thanks. I can always count on you to visit my photohunt every week.

Gravatar thanks natalie. i laso love to buy beautiful things for myself but, unlike my mom, I use them all.

Gravatar Love this photo! Such a vivid shot - especially with the other colored pots behind. Perfect choice for The Hunt.

Gravatar a red pot that has been there for more than 15 years but never been used? And it still looks new although it was there for more than one and half decades

Gravatar It's a lovely pot! I guess it is in such good condition because it has never been used.

My red photo.

Gravatar Great shot. OPerfect for this week' theme. Happy weekend

Gravatar Superb shot! It looks like one of those heavy cast iron pots, lovely to look at but awkward to use. Perhpas that's why it's not being used - a beautiful object to be admired rather than a practical item to be put into use?

Gravatar That's a nice red pot.

My grandmother was the same way. She kept so many things in her cabinets and many of which were new and never been used.

Gravatar Oh MY! That pot is FAR too pretty to not be used!!! It would hit the spot, filled with steamy hot chili here today...it's snowing!!!!

Great photo!

Gravatar You could have those sold for a price on ebay, lol!

Surprising she didn't use the pot after all these years and it still look good.

have a great weekend, Mon

Gravatar Those pots would fetch a good price on ebay, lol! Surprising she didn't use these, nanghihinayang?

Have a great Sunday, Mon

Gravatar great red!

Have a nice sunday!

Gravatar That is a nice red pot. My mom sounds like your mom!!

Gravatar have a great week ahead

Gravatar It's a lovely pot - I was very surprised to read that it's never been used!

Gravatar A red pot that has rarely been used? This sounds so familiar! LOL.

Gravatar Well, I guess that for 15 years the pot kept very well. Good shot!

Gravatar I realised your green, yellow and red pots look like the traffic lights. Haha! Happy day to you (=

Gravatar never thought of that pelfy. someone commented earlier they looked like the colors of benetton.

Gravatar hi there

I just came back from vacation, and I just saw your entry for theme RED now. Nice choice
