Gravatar "I'm looking forward to HBO's production of George R. R. Martin's, "A Song Of Ice And Fire" series."

I was surprised when I heard about that upcoming series, and I started re-thinking that whole no-cable decision...

Gravatar I hope to GAWDs that iTunes signs a contract to carry it. Otherwise, I'm in for the price of a TV and a Cable contract for the full run.... Damn me.

Gravatar All I can say is, the original Galactica sucked so badly, I never even tested the waters on the later edition.

As for the "we are the elite, so we are terribly fascinating", well, that's how they think, so what do you expect? How Paris Hilton gets her face on magazine covers month after month is beyond me, she's not even that pretty. And she's certainly not interesting, much less fascinating.

Gravatar Don't do it Monk! They suck you in with one or two good shows then the rest lands up mediocre. And for that you're willing to pay $100 a month?

Gravatar I would recommend Hulu but apparently that's going bye-bye soon. Rumor has it that Hulu is prepping itself for pay-per-view and paid subscriptions.

I watched the first two seasons of BG but landed on the swing shift at work. Missed the rest of it. My brother told me that some of the stars and crew had come south of the border to do some shopping at my home town's Home Depot while they were filming in Kelowna, BC. That's as close as I got to the later seasons.

At this rate, I'll have to re-up my Netflix service again.

I may try and do a BG marathon later this winter just to see what everyone is on about.
