Good luck with them. I've heard that hops may be worth more than gold soon.

Gravatar Zymurgian will be jealous. What varietals are you growing?

Gravatar Py--

Hallertrau, Golden, Mt. Hood and Crystal.

They are the ones that I tend to use the most in my beers, and they all seem to be good in the Mid-South summer heat.

Hell, if the harvest is sizable enough, I'm likely to share them with you all.

I'd be happy to dry some and shop them over to you. I just want them to grow.

I'll keep you posted.

Gravatar This is an interesting post. You should submit it at yearblook.com/submit.php. Yearblook is a competition to find each day’s best blog posts. At the end of the year, the 365 best posts (1 from each day) will be published in a book (a real, printed book, you will find it on Amazon).

Gravatar That's a nice vine.

It's doubtful that I would use hops, but could probably sell hops or give the harvest away.

I mainly like the look of the vine. I'm curious now how it might look planted on the same support as Scarlet Runner beans.
