The health insurance I have at work has, up until this year, been pretty good. This year we have gone from a co-pay system to a deductable one. Also, for the first time we have to prove that our dependents are just that, dependents. That means I have to provide a copy of my marriage license ( we've been married for 32 years) and a copy of our joint tax return from last year. Now I have worked for this company for 12 years. I have dropped my son as a dependent when he graduated high school and went into the Marines Corps. I find it rather gaulling to have to do this, but do this I must. I call it the monkey dance - "Dance, monkey, dance".

These people consider any day wasted, when they cannot force some child to die of cancer, some woman to go without prenatal care, some man to work in pain or some elderly person to live without hope of finding a way to force them to pay what they promised to pay when the contract was signed and they accepted the money.
Does ANY other industry, ANYWHERE, in ANY country break faith with its signed contractees as often as the insurance industry of the United States of America? Hell, do any TEN?
