Gravatar We've always been spotty with the tooth fairy -- once she just left a note on the kitchen table that said "I'm running a little late tonight, here's a dollar. Give your tooth to your dad."

Gravatar Oh bummer! My husband did the same thing with my oldest. She was around 10 though and all of her friends had already told her the TF wasn't real.

Fortunately she didn't tell her sister.

Gravatar Oops! Now I know to be very careful and make sure my son is asleep next time he looses a tooth! Of course - he was asking some pretty specific Santa questions this year. I think the innocence is ending.

Gravatar HA - my son WAS growing his hair until last week - my husband couldn't take it anymore and took him for a big chop!

Gravatar Uh-oh, they're getting too smart now! My daughter is 7 & hasn't lost a tooth yet.

Gravatar Oh no! We had an almost similar moment when I realized the day after Christmas that the tooth fairy had 'forgotten' to come... Thankfully the girls seemed to accept the explanation that many kids must have had the same Christmas wish as Hannah (to lose a tooth on Christmas) and so the tooth fairy was so busy that she didn't make it to Hannah's pillow until later that next morning. Phew...

This whole tooth fairy thing is a lot more stressful than I ever thought it would be!

Gravatar ROFLOL! Mine are adults now. But I love hearing toothfairy stories. We once forgot for 2 nights in a row. Fortunately my nephew hadn't lost any teeth and he got a "magical" visit from the toothfairy. The two of them figured there had been a mistake where to leave the dollar.

My youngest nephew has now lost 2 teeth, he won't put them under his pillow. He's holding out for more money. The kid's a wallstreet broker in the making!

Gravatar Oh no! hehe. I am sorry your husband was busted, but you gave an excellent cover story.

Gravatar Oh NO! I have yet to face anything of the sort yet, but I dread the day when all their innocence will come down to a list of questions about the Tooth Fairy, Santa and the Easter Bunny. *sigh*

Good cover and I hope you have a few more encounters with the Tooth Fairy.

Gravatar It must be tooth losing season. This is the fourth PSF I have read related to losing teeth.
My kids are still gaining teeth, but hopefully I will do okay with the whole TF thing.

Gravatar Playing these parts is always fun and you always hate to see the children quit believing.

Gravatar Sometimes kids are too smart for their own good, huh? My oldest figured out things like this WAY sooner than I would have liked.

Gravatar wow. your blog's pics are always cute.
