Conor vs. Chris. Could you imagine how lame that boxing match would be? Or maybe not. Sometimes the scrawny ones surprise you. I'd put my money on Chris, though.
I have a mental image of Chris play picking Conor up, Conor giggling, his hair flying around. And then the two start wrestling on the stage floor, giggling. oh, love!
Nice write up on the Bright Eyes show. A couple of things that should be added, the key board player who you reference but didn't recognize is Joe McGinty from The Psychedelic Furs. He also runs a kick ass New York event/show called The Losers Lounge and he has been the keyboard player of choice for everyone from The Ramones, to Devandra Bernhardt. I don't know if you were listening, but Joe's licks are brilliant! Also, I can't believe you don't get Baby! They rock. How could you think that Craig with a single guitar would turn out a disco song anyway? He's got tons of great guitar based material and he's done some amazing sound track work too. This guy is pouring music out in every direction. It was nice to hear the Shudder songs, no question, but don't underestimate what Craig is up to now. He is better than ever.
