omg. you got to hear ICEMAN which he has NEVER played in his entire f'in life and you are complaining about missing "i'm on fire" (you wouldnt have liked that either, he does it on banjo, and it would be okay except the audience insists on singing the album version over him). word up on the river, though. i almost fell out of my chair when he did it in boston and it was the only thing that made boston worthwhile.

i am in a weird space about the suicide cover myself. i don't see it as bruce turning it into a love song, i see him as turning it into an anthem, and i spent several hours thinking "its not an anthem" but now i'm not so sure.

i am with you that this version of promised land has to go already. i am with you on most of the D&D songs except "matamoros banks" because that shit is seriously fucked up. he's writing a song from the perspective of someone who's drowned. that is punk.

i am such a big fan of this version of reason to believe it's not funny.

this tour could have been really f'in boring. but you're pissed off and so are a lot of people. personally, i like that. a lot.

Gravatar Holy crap, Pierre Robert is alive?

Gravatar i guess i'm not a big enough fan to care about iceman. i've listened to that song, what, like twice in my life?

and yeah, i guess i wasn't clear-- the new version of "reason to believe" is awesome. just not what i expected.
