Oh,it's not a trend. It is and has been the unrecognized majority since the profession began. It just goes unrecognized. You present an interesting twist, though.
This 'trend' is great for those of us who provide administrative support to solo practitioners. I hope that it continues. I think it is a trend that we will see in other businesses as well. Maybe people are tired of the "bigger is better" idea?
