I hear you, baby! Yesterday the newbie woke us up around 4am, and I knew I wasn't going to get back to sleep, and so around 4:45 I relented and got up and ran four miles on the treadmill. By the time I finished and showered, it was all of 6am.
And I was working yesterday morning and yesterday night. Sigh.
But it's not about me.

I've hit that age where I now understand what was once the inexplicable phenomenon of parental exhaustion. Truly, the ability to fall asleep sitting in a chair is a skill of those over 30 years of age.

I should clarify that I don't really understand parental exhaustion. I would never be so bold as to claim such a thing. But I do understand exhaustion of the chair-sleeping variety.

I find Neo Citron really really helps me fall asleep. wink wink...but seriously it does.

I work the night shift now, and my body is perpetually confused about when to sleep, and sometimes doesn't at all. I once went like 3 days without much more than bits and snatches of dozing. So I feel your pain!
