I sat on this post for a little while because I was pretty sure there would be people who wouldn't get the joke. But obviously I've now posted it, because that photo was too good to leave out.
For the record, I have a problem with the name Discobility, I don't have any problem with people with disabilities. If you're trying to give people with "special needs" an event that lets them do things everyone else does, naming it after your target group's disabilities only really highlights difference. Or naming something in a way that is meant to affirm people's abilities (ie difabilities), is doublespeak dumbness and still highlighting disabilities.
That joke is so wrong but I can't help laughing.
