I'd settle for viability.

Most of the great metal bands in America -- and they are out there -- can't even make a living at it. They have 9-to-5 jobs.

I guess that puts us in the same boat as the jazz guys as far as unrewarded talent goes.

But, damn, I'm watching the new Kamelot DVD wondering aloud "How come guys like this are a drop in the ocean compared to the likes of Bruce Springsteen.

Again, there is no justice in music.
