actually I don't believe he is reading from "on the Road", I believe it looked like that but he actually read from another work, but I don't remember which.

That's from "Visions of Cody". Man, you cats are so square. Dig how Jack trails off with one hand while Stave riffs on the keys at one point. He's seeing ALL the colors in the music...f*ckin brilliant.

Jack Kerouac is one of the most enigmatic writers of our recent history. The myth never stops flowing from who he was (or was made out to be), and who he really might have been. It's odd that Kerouac began a left-wing, alternative lifestyle movement, except he himself was completely conservative and abhorred that very movement. So many oddities about him...he'll forever remain mysterious, hopefully, because that's the greatest thing about him. Oh, and his writing isn't terrible either. I've written a lot on Mr. Kerouac at www.adamluebke.blogspot.com He's forever a fountain of inspiration.

He's from my hometown. My dad would see him at the end of his life. My high school math teacher was on the football team w/him.
