These Fugs videos have been on YouTube for a good couple of years (since 2006 at least) How is it that the polite grown-ups at BoingBoing are suddenly interested in dirty hippies?
Who knew that BoingBoing blogged about anything other than bad science fiction and nagging copyright laws?
I guess BoingBoing ran out of "cool furniture" to blog about and decided to focus their attention on alternative music of the 1960s

By the way, Ed Sanders was and always has been much funnier than Frank Zappa and is probably 1000% smarter...but I guess we'll never really know. At least Zappa never stooped to writing a great book about The Family (and also never wrote entire poetic histories in free verse form)
The big "Fugs Reprise Collection" is killer and there's an album called Fugs at the Real Woodstock (1994) which is real mellow and groovy in a dirty hippie kind of way.
BoingBoing blogging about dirty hippies...amazing! It won't last.
Kurt - I know what you are trying to say. But BoingBoing is so much more than its contributors. Anyone can send them links. They have blogged about hippies, Woodstock and The Fugs several times during the years.
You can say and think whatever you feel like about BoingBoing - but they have probably blogged that too.
