I wish I could help you with figure out your computer. Unfortunately I am a "hands on" kinda gal and need to have it in front of me so that I can figure it all out. Then I would probably be able to help you.
It is good to focus on gratitude because it turns our hearts and minds to the good things in life and makes us aware of what we have - instead of what we don't have.

The Apple Store has a "Genius Bar" ... the first time I saw this I asked for a "double with soda in a tall glass" !!! The whole Apple experience (from product to retail environment) is designed with YOU in mind, so try and get there, because in one foul swoop you will sort out all the small issues that create anxiety.
Switching from one operating system to another is a mission ... those quick key strokes/mouse clicks are not there anymore ... it's a bit like driving on the "other side of the road" -- you still get from A to B, but just with some slight adjustments.
Last week I was driving in the UK, came out of a parking lot of a supermarket, and went along the way quire merrily, listening to the BBC, enjoying the decent weather -- only be jolted into reality when I saw a car coming straight, head-on directly for me ... I was in the wrong lane ! (Coming out of parking lots is a kak charf)
So, head for the Genius Bar -- grab a Gen Y and let them show you the graft. Take a list of questions in preparation.

Sorry it's been so long since I've been by-- it's been a crazy summer here, but a good one. I know what you mean, about thinking about gratitude. I truly appreciate things so much more, now, after all I've been through in this past year. I no longer take things, even the most simple things, for granted.

I had that picture of the soldier pinned up over my desk for months. I had a note on it asking whether he qualified for a rebate for taking out his grass, referring to the conservation program I work with. The picture is so poignant, a little bit of home to make someone in such a horrific situation more comfortable. I pray for these men and women everyday that they will come home safely. When will this war end? Today, Harry Reid, our Senator is visiting our offices. If I have a chance, I will ask him about the war. Even tho he is powerful, he is not the president. We are wasting the potential of our young men and women, the Iraqi's will never make peace. Sorry, didn't mean to get on my soap box.
How are the computer problems coming? Those problems are so mundane in light of those who miss their families, like the soldier in your picture. It sure keeps things in perspective. Take care.
