I just checked in to wish you L'shana tova. I am sorry about your father-in-law. That is life and I know that what is sad is always there to temper the joy. Today, like every Rosh Hashanah when we recited the Unetaneh tokef, the hair stands up on my arms when we say those powerful words: how many shall pass on and how many shall come to be. It is sad to remember those who came before us. I do take joy in knowing they would love to see how well we are doing in our lives. I treasure the happy memories and you will too.
Mazel tov on your anniversary, they are all special. We just celebrated our 48th. The years go by so quickly. I look at my sons who are turning gray and wonder how that happened so soon. My oldest granddaughter just started college. I must feel the same pleasure my mother and grandmother took in those milestones. It is so wonderful to see your children grow. I now understand the phrase the Circle of Life.

The bad news continues::::
My unrespectability allowed the gods to position failure.
